Here's your southern weatherman report ... true story ... "it's a high of 70 degrees today and that's below normal folks (um, 3 degrees below normal) but don't worry, it's warming back up by the end of the week." Seriously?!? I can't even comment further.
That said, my fur-challenged little mutt is FREEZING outside. Oh, his sweet body shivering uncontrollably. Time for some dog clothes shopping today.
This week is quiet and I'm struggling again with being productive or social or whatever this thing is that is lingering with me. The first week of fostering, I tend to stay home to be with the dog (just seems right since they are nervous, unsure, sick, etc). That hibernation plays into my hibernation tendency and BAM ... I'm back to funk-ish. I need to get out and socialize. It's important. I made a list of stuff to start, stuff to do and habits to revisit. Let's see if that helps. And I need to be productive ... I need to go back to work. The answer is becoming more and more clear. But don't worry, as soon as I start working I'll complain about that too - LOL.
Someone asked if it's seasonal. Since the season changed about 5 minutes ago here -- it's not. I actually do best in the fall/winter season. It just works for me. I'm naturally happier. Go figure. That leads me on a tangent (i.e. where am I from that winter is my season). Someone we know had DNA testing for ancestry purposes. Makes me curious to have mine done too. The question is, how accurate is it. The results are also pretty general. Probably not worth the money (I'm not sure of the price, but I image some $$). Yet tempting ...

Working on my inside this week. |
I'm having a stuck book moment again. It started off well ... but now ... I hardly want to pick it up. I hate to "fail" at a book again. I'm 30% in (because I'm that bored with it) and I'll give it one more night read and then I'll let it go.
My INTENTION today is ... I've starred at these words, but nothing is coming to me ... it's that kind of day. So my INTENTION is to find some intention as the day goes on. Kind of a cheat intention, but it's all I've got. Later gators.
