Hubby did get up with me, but then headed early to tennis. So voila -- I'm posting. What a relief LOL.
Anyway, the microwave repair peeps forgot the microwave. No need to re-read. Yep. True story. Now managers are involved. Maybe 4th time's a charm? I handled it well, but I got firm this time. Enough already.
Gismo was puny yesterday, but seems better now. Fingers crossed.
We got pizza from a new chain last night, Your Pie. I don't know if it's national or just regional. I got the gluten-free (just in case). Fun concept. 10" pies with up to a ridiculous number of toppings and choices from crusts to sauces to cheeses -- for a fixed price -- $7.99 (up charge for gluten-free though). On-line ordering easy. Great system in place. Good for a family - everyone gets what they want - no extra charges for a few slices of pepperoni, etc. Problem is pizza is just okay. I'm a pizza snob (12 years in NY). Not a fan, but the convenience, etc might make it worth it on occasion.
I ended up with some tummy issues overnight (let's leave it at that). I'm not sure it was the pizza though. Dreamt I had a stomachache and sure enough, I did. I'm a bit off this morning, but all is much better.
The circuit class yesterday kicked butt. I was toast by the end and super sore (good sore) today. I'm on the fence about a workout today. It should be a rest day, but tomorrow has an early start and that would be nice as a rest day. Choice is still up in the air as I get the old body moving this morning.
I need to do a big cook-up -- desperately. I have one little pack of grilled meat and one container of chili in the freezer. That's it. All gone. Weather is changing and it's the perfect time for some warm meals. I don't know why I've been so spotty with cooking. I think I've been spotty with the shopping more than the cooking. I hate to crate the fosters for too long. I need to 'travel' to the big stores and do a big, big shop. When the stuff is here, I cook it - duh me. Get going already.
On that note, time for a shopping list. Happy Weekend. Later gators.
