Mother Nature

She screwed with my plans today.  Bummer.  RAIN and more RAIN.  No outside run, no hike.  I'm disappointed.  The forecast a few days ago had rain moving in tonight.

But today is still salvageable.

Willy (I like his name spelled this way!) has a meet & greet this morning.  It's certainly not a sure thing on either end, but we are going to see how it goes.  Her reservation is he's too shy to be a therapy dog.  She's a therapy trainer and we had a long chat about Willy's personality so far. My reservation is she's 74.  Her family will take her dog if her situation changes.  She and her husband have a very active life and Willy would love it.  Stay tuned ...

We have dinner at a friend's tonight.  Fun time for sure.  Steak, twice baked potato and salad from her garden ... and lots of wine ... all yum!  Looking forward to a relaxing evening.

Mother nature also struck by giving me my monthly fun a few days early.  Good for our trip, bad for today.  Oh well.

My youngest is popping in for a 'hello' today too.  He's home for a haircut lol and is going to come over.
