It's Friday

I had a stomach upset last night -- still lingering this morning.  Fingers crossed for the hike with no bathrooms!

I'll keep it short this morning.  

I wanted storage for overflow paint supplies and rocks in the office closet.  The side shelves won't hold the weight and I was keeping everything on the floor.  Hello, Facebook Marketplace.  Found an antique dresser for $50.  The woman bought it from original owner 15 years ago and is downsizing to Montana.  Win for me.  There are excellent deals on Marketplace.

Lavender is in full bloom.  So pretty.  I need to move it back to its original spot, but I'm waiting until after our trip to Asheville (needs to be in a line to be drip-hose watered).

Lot of little pickings from the garden.  Herbs (dill, basil, mint), wildflowers (black-eyed Susan), flowers (lavender) -- and a propagating plant from inside.  I LOVE picking from things in the yard.

I finished this book.  It was okay.  The beginning started well, but petered by the last third.  Library books up next.  Stay tuned.

5 mile easy hike today.  Rest of the day is house chores -- nothing special.  I want to rock paint and read too.  Depends on how I feel.  Hope you're set for a good weekend.  Later gators.
