Alone feels amazing! It was a good visit, but 48 hours is the limit -- probably 36 is better lol. I was struggling the last half of the day. As I mentioned, the wife is a handful and she was again. In small doses, I do okay though. There's a lot to like about her, but man, she pushes and pushes. Tough cookie. A few nights of crappy sleep didn't help.
That said, I CRASHED and BURNED yesterday. To say I was depleted was an understatement. After an excellent night's sleep, I feel much better this morning.
Here are a few pictures from Saturday.

Dinner at Jargon. Very plant forward, delicious. Wish we sat outside though. My bad for not reserving the patio. |

I wonder how I entertain and not feel so drained. Maybe I can't. Maybe I need to expect it and plan for a crash day.
Today is back-heavy cleaning after a Peloton ride and a teahouse visit. Rain ending this morning. Oh, and a coaching session about people-pleasing. I'm relaxing the rest of the evening.
And in a shocker, I'm totally out of books to read ---- WHAT?!?! I finished everything. Why didn't I bring more?!? I hate to buy a book for one day since I have so many at home. Teahouse won't be the same. So yesterday was a TV day and this evening will be too. I'll pass a couple of LFLs on the way so maybe I'll get lucky. I feel strange without a book in Asheville. I looked at my bookshelves trying to find something I'd like to reread -- nothing jumped out.
There are bigger problems, but dang ... crappy planning.
Anyway, that's my recap. I'm ready to go home. Leaving tomorrow morning. It's been a fun 3 weeks in a row visiting, but routine is calling, my garden is calling and I miss the dogs. Love Asheville. Love home. Lucky to get both.
Happy Monday. Later gators.
