Early Morning Ortho

I'm up super early for an early ortho appointment.  I don't expect to learn much, but I need to chat about a couple of things (exercise, medication).  Not sure if this is worth it but here I am at appointment day.  I made an early appointment so I don't have a long wait but it's a mixed bag.  Rush the morning only to be finished by 8 o'clock with a full day of nothing in particular ahead.

UPDATE:  Total waste of time and I'm not surprised.  The rest of the healing is probably up to me to figure out.

Yesterday was a mixed bag.  My gf who cancels on the regular canceled coffee.  This was a classic cancelation and probably a lot to due with it raining and her husband not liking that she does things without him.  She picked day, time, place -- tried to change time (no go since because of closing time).  "Got a late start to the day."  Geez -- it ALWAYS bothers me.  We were meeting at 2 o'clock.  I went anyway.  It's a bit of a drive for me (much less for her).  Woman owned with a good story, community oriented, etc.  Coffee was great.  It was recommended by our hairdresser hence the coffee date at this particular place.  Hubby and dogs rode along but we hit rain so they stayed in the car.

Anyway ... I could complain all day about her cancelations and lack of commitment.  I wonder if she'll change-postpone-cancel my birthday celebration next week.  I'm giving it 50% ... 75% if it's raining.

Our house guests in Asheville brought us a gift.  Someone they know makes computer drawings and they did one of our house in Asheville and framed it.  Very thoughtful.  The problem?  It doesn't fit Asheville.  The solution.  Hang it in GA.  Phew.  We "had" to put it out and were a little stuck for options.  A gift like this IS very nice, but it comes with pressure on the recipient.  Since they visit both houses and it's not like we can quickly set it out when they come, we needed to find a place for it.  Glad it's figured out.
