Geez ...

... COVID is everywhere again.  My GF's husband has it on their trip in Europe, my Spanish instructor, my neighbor, bookclub peeps, hubby's work peeps, several people I follow on IG --  yet barely a single mask to be found.  I'm still wearing one. Just when my back is doing well and I want to get out and about, the numbers are climbing.  Dang.

My cousin is coming from SC to visit Monday afternoon.  Now I'm nervous.  Is she careful enough?  We'll go out for lunch outside and I confirm she's not sick, but that's about all I can do (short of canceling).  Fortunately, the weather looks good so we can be outside most of the time.

I'm concerned for my family over the next several weeks.  Hawaii, France and Florida (and me at home -- story of these last 2 years lol).  Thankfully, all vaccinated and boosted.

Looks like QuaranTina is back again ... will she ever go away for good?!?!

Anyway ...  BOOKS.

Trader Joe's today and I regret waiting until Saturday.  It's going to be a zoo.  Kids over tomorrow (DIL's parents aren't in town after all so kids over earlier).  We still plan to take a hike in the morning.

Okay -- I'm sneezing like crazy this morning.  Did IT come for me too?!?!  I think it's allergies since I was just outside with the plants.  Stay tuned ...
