MidWeek Updates

I had a Spanish tutoring class yesterday and it got off to a rough start.  She was 15 minutes late (again) and has COVID.  She's pretty sick and I offered to reschedule, but she wanted to keep the time.  I guess she was in a crappy mood and I got some flack for my questions -- too detailed, too much too soon, translating (which is not good in her mind).  It took half the class before she decided to answer my questions - hah.  But I did get answers and it helps.   It was my last private lesson because the group starts next week.  Lots to study.

Thunderstorms all night and power out twice.  Funny how the silence wakes everyone up immediately.  Fortunately, it wasn't off for long each time (about an hour total).  Still storming this morning but moving out soon.

I had to cut a walk short yesterday because my back felt wonky.  Don't want to push things.  I'll do a shorter walk today and a modified yoga class (modify the modifications -- it can barely be called yoga).

Hubby had a great interview yesterday.  Off to France for the next step.  I haven't heard from him this morning yet -- just a late night text.  I bet he's sleeping a bit late today.

Yesterday wasn't the best day headspace wise.  (Yep, asked "what's the matter, love")  The answer was a bunch of little things brewing in the background.  Mother's Day mess, passive-aggressive comment I'm processing, nervous for hubby and bummed about my back feeling crappy again.  Add Spanish class "issues" and my afternoon was all about the blues.  I think it's hormonal because it felt like an overreaction.  I feel happier today :)

Dogs are bugging -- got to run.  Later gators.
