Plant, Plants, Planted

First of the painted rocks "planted" on the trail in our neighborhood.  I found the rocks on my morning walk and gave them a quick paint -- not my best, but they are fun.  Wonder how long they'll stay there.

Mama and baby for Mother's Day

Strawberries are producing!  Maybe I'll get to eat one before the birds and squirrels get these.  So far, they've beat me to the punch.

Monti on the porch.  The new trellis behind the cucumbers.

My neighbor dropped off a bunch of Zennia babies for planting.  That was such a nice surprise -- she's a great gardener.  I need to find a full sun place this weekend and hope I don't kill these little bitty plants.

I'm getting a pedicure this morning and in honor of spring planting I'm bringing the spring green color I got last month.  It's going to be heavy rain and prom weekend and Mother's Day weekend.  Cue a zoo -- but hopefully no COVID.  I'll wear a mask as usual.

I might try for a quick grocery store run too.  Plans are for Trader Joe's early tomorrow, but I need a few things from a regular store too.  I'll see how bad the storms get -- from noon on the weather app has rain with a red explanation point -- not a good sign. (Will the painted rocks survive lol?!?  Not to mention, all the newly planted plants!)

Hope you are set for a good weekend.  Happy Friday -- later gators.
