Too. Much. Cheese.
I feel like a slug and am puffy and bloated. Good cheese choices last night LOL. I also had a lot of corn stuff. The kids make a street corn dip with corn chips -- super good and I ate a lot of it. I made real popcorn for snacking during the game -- butter, salt, YUM. Corn doesn't love me much either.
So this might be a BIG **TMI Alert** but you need to know if you need to know -- so you're welcome for this heads up.
I got influenced at Christmas for kind of a joke stocking stuffer gift. It's called Sneak-A-Squeek. They're herbal capsules you take a couple of hours before you might eat something that makes you gassy. They last 8 - 12 hours and neutralize SMELL in your intestines. They don't stop gas, but it'll have no odor.
I knew there were a few culprits on the menu last night (corn is a big one) and I've been a bit active in that department lately. Perfect opportunity to try them (I bought for myself too).
THEY WORK (!!) I can't believe it. And they worked under big conditions -- big, silent conditions. Need I say more?? Wow. It wouldn't be something I'd want to take everyday, but on a big occasion, a girl's weekend sleepover, an evening party. Especially when it's the kind that's even embarrassing in the bathroom because it's so potent. I'm sold.
**TMI Over**
The Super Bowl was fun. I stayed up until just before halftime when the kids left. I heard the halftime show got mixed reviews (doesn't it always). I loved the pregame performers (Amanda Gorman especially), but the National Anthem singing wasn't my favorite. I thought it was one of the worst I've heard in a long time actually.
Today is a reset day for diet and RELAXING. I'm going to my friend's new dog boutique store that opened on Saturday. I didn't go to her private opening party (not safe enough), but I will stop in a see the store, buy some stuff and check out the grooming facilities for my pups.
I'm also suppose to go and walk with my girlfriend and her baby granddaughter -- outside, with masks, etc. Not sure if that's happening. It's been weather postponed 3 times. As I sit here this morning in my cheese coma, I wouldn't mind another postponement.
Last night was a good reminder that how I eat REALLY impacts how I feel. Not worth doing on the regular.
New week -- let's find the good and make it the best it can be. Stay well. Later gators.
