We came home yesterday. The trip was a mixed bag -- more this later. What made the "bad" mix was hubby got COVID second day of the trip. I began symptoms the day before my birthday and am sicker than a dog now.
Way sicker than he was (he's had COVID before).
We both tested when we got home.
Big wrench in the trip.
I'm really down and out. Need to sit and rest after walking to the bathroom kind of sick. I'll be back to fill in some details once I'm strong enough.
There were good things, but it's hard to focus on when I feel so crappy. This better not be long COVID.
Happy birthday to me -- no longer a "no-vid" even with all my continued precautions. Dang it. Only as strong as the weakest link.
