Recap and Heading Home

I had another fun day yesterday.

First I cleaned -- as fast as I could and got enough finished to call it done ... all before 8 o'clock.

Especially a nice surprise was the mountain walk (although my back isn't happy about it). Bear in the middle of the road (so I changed my route), found rocks I left last year, double coffee when I finished on the mountain, Trader Joe's for teabags and 3 good finds from LFLs in the area. One walk, many notes.

LFL grabs from
3 different stops

Coffee outside next to a veggie garden.

Someone built a little house
for the mouse.

And a house for the frog --
made me laugh.

Out with my sister for some vintage shopping. She got a lot for her new house. I got a plant stand :)

When I got home, a couple was looking inside the LFL and said they LOVE the quote jar. YES (!!) That completely made my day.

I'm inspired from finding my old rocks and LFL activity -- full steam ahead with both creative bits.

Today I'm meeting my sister and niece for the farmer's market, maybe a stop for tea and heading home. I'm ready -- good to leave, good to return. I miss the garden. These few days have been all salads with the cabbage, cucumbers and herbs as a base. Pretty please let the beetles be lite this year and my garden still in one piece.

My body hurts. Recovery is still low (maybe inflammation). I pulled off Monday's hike -- it's no where near full so if I feel good tomorrow, I'll register again. I have a feeling pushing through will set me back again (just heard the pun).

Have a good weekend. Later gators.
