We're back. We had a fantastic trip. It's so easy to travel with these friends.
Puerto Rico is beautiful. Old San Juan is like a European town -- charming and oozing with culture. Food was great, people are friendly, friends are the best.
Only downside was the hotel staff. New management, odd rules, not very happy staff. Our friends have stayed many times and this had a noticeable difference. That said, didn't impact our enjoyment at all. It would have if it had just been me and hubby though. With friends around we were distracted enough to not let it bother us -- they said the same.
Also, we had a fun time on the food tour, but it was skimpy for the price point and the guide inundated us with way too much history and dates -- we all zoned out. Too much information. Too boring. But the group was fun and we enjoyed the afternoon.
Here are some pictures. Too much to recap the whole trip. I actually never found time to journal the trip so I want to do that today. I'll never remember the nuances otherwise. Pictures will load wonky.

Lots more, but that's probably enough of an over-share of pictures :)
I'm feeling the grind coming home -- of course. We haven't just met lol. This feels like a super hard right turn after this vacation. We really checked out from "life" for 5 days. It's a little slap getting back into everything. Today is re-entry day. Unpacking, grocery store, organizing for the week and getting ready for my first court presentation tomorrow morning.
We're planning a trip to Asheville on Thursday too. What are we thinking? Full life -- keep reminding myself. It's what I want, but I need to build up some endurance apparently because it feels "a lot."
On that note, have a good Tuesday -- I need to get to that re-entry list. Later gators.
