Target was a joy compared to my Walmart experience. 5 card max per transaction and I needed 6 -- no problem, just a second transaction at the self checkout (with help). My card wasn't flagged so easy peasy. EVERYONE was in a mask. Maybe 3 other shoppers in total and a bunch of employees restocking shelves. That was totally worth it. I did a little shopping too. Toiletries and some organizational bins for my pantry. Win and win. Thank you, Target.
I'm getting a signature delivery from FedEx this morning. Dang. RUSHED morning again. Fortunately, it's a quick arm and yoga day. Hubby should be home around 11 o'clock. Blue's new family is doing a video chat this afternoon because of heavy rains (he won't tolerate outside in the rain) and they are meeting him tomorrow with the expectation to take him home.
Blue slept through the night in his crate. Last night was an anomaly and I guess he thought waking up and going outside meant coming in the bed after. I was worried I created a "bed monster" chihuahua. He's cuddling in bed now -- he's really sweet (especially when he's sleeping LOL).
I started the transition to Christmas yesterday. Put away all fall decor, switched wreaths and my table runner. Dusted, did floors and general quick cleanup. Stopped there because of Blue. Little bugger was playing with stuff as soon as I dusted it. Don't need him interested in the Christmas decorations too -- it was one big play time (aka chew time) for him.
I did some thinking and writing about 2021. A list of 21 things (about half full), phrase of the year, focus for the year. I'll do a post a share soon. It's funny how, even THIS year, my list held more than you'd expect AND my phrase held even though the WHY was totally unexpected. That reminds me ... where did I put my 2020 list?? I read it a couple of months ago, so it must be somewhere. Lordy, I don't misplace things very often.
Happy Friday. Happy Day. Stay well. Later gators.
