Ziggy HATED my grand-dogs (still), but my world didn't shatter. No one got hurt and we worked it out for the afternoon. I've moved to ACCEPTING on this one.
(World Cup was fantastic -- so happy for those ladies!)
Looks like we are closing TOGETHER today. Nothing I can do about it, except smile and take everything in stride. At least my nails are looking AWESOME for all the signing - hah.
In case you didn't hear, tomorrow is TUESDAY and my got-my-groove-back day. So far, this Jedi mind-trick is working. I worked out with a few easy intervals on the treadmill yesterday. It felt fine and was so nice to sweat. I'm doing the same today -- building slowly and cautiously. I ate better, slept well and feel a little more myself today. I'm ready for you, my friend Tuesday.
Tomorrow, I'm setting an alarm because I need to get moving earlier to take dogs out before the heat (aka before the sun is fully up). Dogs need to get up, go out, get fed and DIGEST for at least 30 minutes before walking. It's dangerous for a dog to walk on a full stomach (especially in the heat). Stomach twist and bloat is the real deal. I need at least an hour after waking to before we can walk. That means up at 5:30, walk by 6:30 ... finished by 7:30. Part of the challenge is getting the dogs up -- they love a comfortable bed. Lazy days of summer.
Fingers crossed for today. It's still nerve racking -- you're not closed, until you're closed. We had a friend who was at closing when the buyer had a heart attack and collapsed. Can you believe it?? He lived, thankfully, and they ended up buying the house, but what a drama. I can't imagine.
Off to do my Tuesday prep -- later gators.
P.S. I will have new things to say coming very soon -- it's been the Debbie downer channel all week.
