Un día normal en Asheville y estoy muy feliz. Estoy estudiando español entonces estoy escribiendo un poco en español.
Funny enough, the spellcheck switched to Spanish. Kind of cheating. Anyway, back to English.
Yesterday was my usual Asheville deep breath. Peloton ride, mountain walk (all of us) and headed downtown.
The teahouse said they've never had a rush (4 hours) like Sunday. Crazy! Good for them. It was empty yesterday -- good for me.
With this number and an open counter seat, I knew it was a good day lol. |
GF snack plate and a chai lunch. |
Shopped for an hour or so. Christmas gifts, hostess gifts for upcoming travel, a couple of baby things for the shower -- great finds and glad to have that off my to-do list. Pictures to come.
Home to this big boy.
He stayed in the neighborhood all afternoon -- napping, forging. |
Dinner date with hubby. We ATE and ATE. Full and happy. Back home to watch Amazing Race and bed. Not a bad Monday at all.
Smores GF brownie. I had a few bites, but a lot of dairy so I restrained myself for the better good lol! |
Fried green tomatoes. Pumpkin, quinoa salad. Hubby - burger and truffle fries. |
Not pictured -- my big bowl of fries as a starter (and his lobster bisque). As I said, we ATE (!!)
This morning I'll do another Peloton ride and a walk with Duke in the neighborhood. Trash day so no mountain walk -- bears will be out in force. After a contractor repair, heading to the river for Taco Tuesday with hubby and the dogs. Rest of the day is cleaning and such.
Home early tomorrow. Still sporting some full days so I need to hit the ground running and energetic. Living a full life (I say to not feel overwhelmed). It helps.
Have a good day. Later gators.
