It's my favorite day of the week in what looks like a good week. I have a balance of social, free-time, volunteer stuff and appointments -- AND fall! Who doesn't love the turn to fall weather?!? (Maybe the lettuce plants, but they've had a good run.)
Brunch to celebrate my DIL's HBD was great -- good food and conversation. I had my first PSL with locally made almond milk. It was rich and delicious. Dropped the grand-dogs off so our household feels easy again (until Thursday when we do it all over). Slept in a cool room since it was in the 40s overnight -- 65 (vs usual 70) and I slept well. Thank you, FALL.
Typical GA story yesterday -- our brunch reservations were on an outside covered porch. Since it got cooler, they plastic zipped sides and added heaters. It was so warm for our "outdoor" seats on what was an incredibly, beautifully cool morning. The south is very scared of temps below 70 lol.
Today is full of chores and errands -- neither of which I mind. It's part of the balance of work and play this week. I also have a coaching call. Feels back-to-back, but the appointment availability has been wonky recently. Not sure the topic today.
