Chicken and the egg AGAIN. Are bad eating habits fueling the problem or is the problem fueling the bad eating?
Once again, I'm going to pretend myself to good (hopefully) and try to figure out this buffering. My take? Peri is a bitch and this is my way of coping. Not productive and not smart. I need to figure this out though. Enough is enough. Where have I heard this before?!?! Geez.
Anyway ...
Hubby and I scrapped the last minute vacation in October. The cheaper flights to certain areas were cheap for a reason. Off season with lots of things closed. Other places still in the shoulder season were too expensive. It was the right decision. We have a lot of big trips coming up for 2024.
I finished this book. It was super quick, quite suspenseful and probably not the best selection for me right now. But it was good.
Waiting on a slue of library books. I'm going to JUST miss them for the trip to Asheville. Dang. I thought it was going to time out well. (This is one of the things I'm overly stressed about for absolutely no reason.)
Today is going to be productive in lots of little ways. This always calms anxiety. I woke up last night worried about my indoor plants. Good lord. Checking and watering them today will ease that feeling. Things like that.
It is Monday. It is my favorite day of the week. It is set to be a good week. My mantra on repeat. Hope yours is a good one too. Later gators.
