I'm taking the plunge -- shingles vaccine. It's a doozy. Fingers crossed my reaction is mild. Either way, it should be just a day of feeling like poo. Immediately after, I'm heading to the library for a hold (and maybe 2 others if they arrive in time). Reading, TV, chill.
The hike was a lot of fun yesterday. We did a takeout lunch from a plant-forward cafe where the kids live and we hung out for the afternoon. Scoped out an open house in the neighborhood (always fun to snoop other places), hubby did some handyman chores for both boys and we talked all-things-garden. The kids are starting to garden too -- so fun to share this interest.
They gave me a couple of fun Mother's Day gifts. A little holder for my office (thought it matched the look and it does) and a coffee table plant book. It's really interesting -- plant tips and peeks into plant peoples homes and their plant philosophies.
My youngest is giving me another art class at a studio I made a hand knit blanket a few years ago. Lots of good choices.
They know me well ... and I love that.
