Non-Monday Monday

Well, 3 days to feel better didn't work.  I'm still sick -- it's settled into my chest and my energy is absolutely tanked.  It's still within the timeframe of a virus (bronchitis) so I'll wait to see a doctor.  Once again, life feels like it's on-hold for the littlest thing.

I got most of my summer garden planted but ran out of steam for the flowers.  I'll try today.  I also made a decent plan for a raised garden for next year.  The process starts this year -- lots to DIY to do before it's ready for planting next spring.  I'll make a decision next week.  It's hard to feel excited when just the thought tires me out right now -- so I need to wait on the decision.  The energy when a decision is made makes a difference.

I read a fun book using KindleUnlimited (I have the free trial for 10 more days).  The Good Lie (A.R. Torre).  Suspense with lots of unknowns until the very end.  Ending was a bit odd, but it worked -- the twists were very good though.  Next up is the library book.

Nothing else on the agenda today.  Another rest day.  Dang.  It's very, very frustrating.  I love Mondays for the planning and setup for the week.  This isn't that today.  I have no choice.  And the weather is perfect spring weather.  Cool, crisp, sunny.  Patience -- feels like my life lately.

On a different note ... I noticed my desk tray this morning says a lot about me.  Vintage things, plants (mint in water from my garden), coffee, tea, rock message, happy mug -- a little slice of me on a family tray from my grandmother.  I like incorporating what I like in little ways in my day.  It's fun to notice this unintentional collection.  Lots of things have become second nature.

Off to make the best of today.  Later gators.
