Final day of vacation -- I'm ready. Yesterday feels like the actual last day though. My sister and BIL fly home today and everyone else returns to work. Hubby is golfing so I'm solo most of the day. Packing and pool day for me.
The urban area hike was a lot of fun. Rolling climbs and 2 tunnels. We went earlier because of full sun and warmer temps. It was easier than the first hike since the hills were rolling, but still significant.
We went back and showered and met everyone for a long lunch. Best meal of the trip (phew). Said good-byes and came back to hang out by the pool until the football game started. I read and went to bed early. We have a super early wakeup tomorrow, so no need to continue to time adjust.
I got asked to take a volunteer case yesterday. I declined because of timing. I'm ready to start after the baby shower.
Speaking of baby shower -- a few unexpected 'no' replies from the other family side. It's looking more and more like we'd have numbers for the teahouse. I knew this was a possibility and I need to look forward, not back, but right now I'm frustrated.
Last day of vacation. All-the-things looming once we get home. Trying to keep a present mind and enjoy, but it's not easy.
Anyway, I'm going to focus on today and find some FS fun. I actually looked up the teahouse in Carefree, but it's not going to work out. I have a couple of small ideas in mind depending on how I feel. BTW -- no monthly yet, but my temperature and heart rate are back in range. Maybe today or tomorrow. It would be nice if it held off until I'm home.
I won't check in until I'm back in GA. We LEAVE for the airport earlier than my usual wakeup time so it's up and go-time. Big storm front in ATL all day tomorrow. That should make for some fun travel (says my Debbie Downer self). Geez.
Hope you had a good week. Later gators.
