Matcha, Rocks and Books

I'm back on a matcha craze -- this was a first attempt using the steamer from the espresso machine with almond milk.  I'm looking for something new to drink and lord knows, I love a ritual drink process. 

The white fluffy almond milk is so inviting
and I enjoy the earthy taste of matcha.

I painted rocks, did some doodle sketching art and focused on relaxing creativity.  These are the rocks from the local hike which I'll return when I go again.  I decided an inspiration theme instead of happy rock theme.  It's fun to switch it up.  I'm getting ready to try a harder image soon -- still looking for ideas.

I finished this ...

It was a sweet story and very short book.  I have the 2nd one in the series on reserve from the library.  You can read them in an hour.  Only 2 written so far, but it's going to be a longer series.  BTW, each book stands alone.

New pick.  Recommendation from my sister.

A hike posted for later in February that checks all the boxes so fingers crossed I get a spot.  The hike is in a couple of weeks, but registration is this Wednesday.  I'm still looking for something for this week -- nothing so far.

Heading to the movies with my DIL to see 80 for Brady.  It'll be a nice afternoon.
