I had a really nice day and I'm glad I decided to do coffee AND the hike. Great conversation with my girlfriend and it was nice enough to sit outside -- with a little unexpected sunshine.
The hike was good. 5 miles at a comfortable pace with a few big hills. The leader is the rock dot painter and we chatted rocks a bit. Turns out, her hiking group found one of my rocks and posed for pictures with it. That was a fun story -- I don't get to hear about people finding them. It felt really good to get in the woods again -- best mood booster.

I rocked painted a bunch of rocks with re-dos of my favorites, read, watched more Kaleidoscope and went to bed early.
Kitchen time today. I need to figure out the menu for tomorrow, shop and prep. Lots to do, but I should have enough time that it doesn't seem overwhelming. Fingers crossed.
