Lordy, Lord

Well, I didn't paint the Little Free Library.  Surprised?  You shouldn't be -- we are close to the 3 year anniversary of its purchase.  It was really cold in the unfinished basement and I didn't think my toes could handle it.  Excuse -- maybe a little, but I'm trying to heal my chilblains so I can get a pedicure and get outside more.

I did finish this book and I LOVED it!  Fast, fun, clever.  I'll check out other books by this author.

I started this one and it's another usual kind of story.  Switches narrators and one is an octopus at an aquarium -- and it works!

Hubby home tonight.  Rain settles in today for the foreseeable forecast.  Dang.  I'm going to try to get some outside nature time today, but the forecast isn't looking great.

Registration for the hike I'm super excited about is tonight.  Fingers crossed I get a spot.

All set with the realtor for townhome hunting this spring.  I'm glad to get moving on this.

Coaching call was okay yesterday.  Not the best, not the worst.  We talked about old-me vs future-me and what happens when I feel like something is both.  Like the garden club.  She gave some good suggestions by the end -- we weren't connecting with the issue at first.  I probably wasn't explaining it well.  Basically, focus on the future-self part that I like and be okay that some things feel like old-me.  Trust myself to be moving forward, not backward.  How can I take what feel like old-me and change that aspect to future-me.      I signed up for another coaching session next week.

I haven't been rock painting because I'm enjoying the doodle sketching right now.  Mostly avatar kind of drawing and that's giving me practice for simple rock sketches.  It's like a little creative meditation time.

I'm still feel kind of blah with boredom at the foreground.  I expect once I can get back to outside stuff I'll feel better.  As much as I like my little creative hobby and reading and podcasts -- that's not enough to feel like a productive life.  My dang toes and the rain have kept me inside for too long this month.

Hope the week is going well.  Time to get moving.  Later gators.
