Framing

Zero kids trick-or-treating here in Asheville.  Can't blame them -- so much easier neighborhoods just across the street.

Drive was a mess with the rain yesterday.  Finally drove out of it just before I got to Asheville.  I unpacked the car and headed to the framing store.  It was interesting -- very intimidating art gallery when you first enter.  I would've turned away if it weren't for the recommendation, but the rest of the store was my speed.

The Duke picture needs a custom frame, but the pictures from my (other) aunt are being framed with scrap wood frames from their framing process.

I'm heading back today with the poster pictures to have them dry mounted on foam board and reframed.

As far as the rest of the day goes -- nothing but whatever I want to do.  Peloton today and outside run/walk tomorrow.  I started decorating for Christmas and need to finish that up.  If I feel motivated, I'm planning to blow leaves too.   I think I'll head over to the vintage stores to look for a stand for plants.  I need to move some to the dining room because the bedroom table is overcrowded.

I can feel the energy low still and it even feels like a push to do "fun" things today.  The rollercoaster is so strong.  Have I mentioned I CAN NOT WAIT to be finished with this process?!?!  I guess I shouldn't rush it was -- apparently it can have some health benefits to linger longer, but I'm ready to say good-bye none the less.

Okay, time to get moving in my perfectly quiet house.  This is a good break before travel nerves really set in.  Have a good day.  Later gators.
