That was a Monday -- Great, Good, Less Good

What a day yesterday.

First up, hike. It was beautiful, but technical for 5 of the miles -- I had no idea it was that "dangerous." Apparently, a number of people from the club have gotten really hurt on the trail. That's the last time I'm hiking it. Glad it was at the beginning of the hike. Last 4 miles were ones I've hiked before and very easy.

I fell -- not very hurt, thankfully. I rolled my ankle so I let myself slow fall. The problem was the trail is so narrow with roots and rocks (and a huge drop off), that I scraped up my leg pretty good. Big gash under the bandaids. No issue with my ankle.

Last of the big hikes today, but it's with my friend group. We'll be slow and I can sag out if I need. I was temped to cancel, but we haven't hiked for 3 weeks.

Next big news is my niece delivered her identical twin boys. One is in the NICU for monitoring, but the other is with her. Both are expected to be perfectly fine. Total cuties with dark hair. 5 and 6 lbs -- good size for 35 week twins.

Then, just as I was winding down for the night, we got an offer on the house. Accepting it and fingers crossed this goes to a sale. Assuming we go under contract today, we're postponing our trip to Asheville because we want to get the house tidied up ahead of a home inspection. Best foot forward so the buyers stay in love with the house. Basically, yard/garden cleanup and cleaning the house again.

I won't mind a few days of a cleared schedule to get some things organized, but we need (and want) to get to Asheville too.

That's all from here. I didn't pick a new book because we got the offer and that ate up my evening. I'm feeling all of my 55 years this morning. Aches, pains, cuts, bruises, broken nose. Geez. Need the acupuncture and chiropractor this afternoon. Yep, I could use a regroup this week.

Hope your week is going well. Later gators.
